2025 Books in Review
Satisfying year! Some business books, some art, some romance. 32,352 pages listened and read.
I read 86 books this year, 22 books less than last year, but still a decent number! I also DNF’ed quite a few, it was very freeing!
Here are some standouts:
- Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals, by Oliver Burkeman I really loved this quote: “Choose uncomfortable enlargement over comfortable diminishment whenever you can.”
- Art & Fear: Observations on the Perils (and Rewards) of Artmaking, by David Bayles and Ted Orland I bought this book in college, and it’s been through many moves. Extremely gratifying to have read this finally!
- Heated Rivalry (Game Changers #2), by Rachel Reid Yes, I’m obsessed with the TV show. Yes, the book lived up to the hype.
- Prequel: An American Fight Against Fascism, by Rachel Maddow Fingers crossed we do that again????
- Devils Inc., by Lauren Palphreyman Honestly just loved the concept of accidentally selling your soul for free wifi.
